About Ryan
Ryan Chapman (b. 1991) is a visual fine artist and illustrator currently based in Portland, OR. He earned his BFA in Illustration at the University of Hartford in 2016. After graduating, he moved to Europe to work as a painter and animator on the Oscar-nominated major motion picture Loving Vincent (2017), the first fully hand-painted animated feature film. His work has been featured in several exhibitions at galleries including The Salmagundi Club (NY), The Dacia Gallery (NY), the Five Points Gallery (CT), The MEAM (Barcelona), Sothebys (LA), The Silpe Gallery (CT), and Phoenix Rising Gallery (WA). He is currently a teacher at High Low Art Space and gives private workshops in the Portland area.
